Java Developer with OpenText Ex-stream and CCM Experience

About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with extensive experience in web and service development, particularly using Java Spring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OpenText Exstream and Customer Communications Management systems, and will be comfortable working in an agile environment as part of a scrum team. This role requires a deep understanding of distributed applications, batch processing, and best practices in customer communications across various delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java web and service applications using Java Spring.
• Utilize OpenText Exstream and Customer Communications Management systems for document rendering.
• Participate actively as a member of a scrum team in an agile environment.
• Implement and manage distributed applications and batch processing jobs.
• Apply CCM best practices for digital and traditional delivery channels.
• Engage in application and platform architecture design sessions.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams across different time zones.

Requirements

• 8 years of applicable experience in Java web and service development.
• Strong expertise in OpenText Exstream and Customer Communications Management systems.
• Experience with Unix Shell scripting and batch applications.
• Understanding of high volume batch processing job scheduling and scaling concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, and source code repositories like Git and Bitbucket.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with development on OpenText Exstream Customer Communication Management Systems.
• Familiarity with document rendering techniques.
