About the position

The Java Developer with Python and AI experience role is focused on backend engineering, requiring a strong foundation in Java and Python programming languages, along with intermediate knowledge of AI technologies. The position involves maintaining GenAI Code Generation tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the adoption of GenAI tools across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the GenAI Code Generation tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and assist in curating the Golden git repository as per documentation.
• Help in indexing the git repository and provide guidance on writing effective prompts for accurate code generation.
• Work with capability owners to understand their requirements and determine if it involves fine-tuning or RAG use cases.
• Drive the adoption of GenAI tools across the organization by providing training and support to developers.
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance and reliability of the GenAI tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of programming language experience, specifically in Java and Python.
• 2+ years of experience working in an enterprise hosting complex systems.
• 2+ years of experience with front-end development using React.js.
• Experience with cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with build systems and CI/CD tools like AWS DevOps and Jenkins.
• Experience using package managers including yum, rpm, and apt.
• Experience with metrics, monitoring, and alerting tools such as Splunk, Wavefront, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and PagerDuty.
• Intermediate AI knowledge in VectorDB, Embedding, RAG, Fine Tuning, and LLM models.
