We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in React and AWS to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring three days onsite and three days remote. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in software development, particularly in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, React, and AWS. The role involves developing internal software solutions, particularly focusing on database migration using a connector architecture that supports cross-platform data migrations, facilitating the transition from on-premises to cloud databases. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software meets business requirements and adheres to best practices in software engineering. A strong understanding of Agile methodologies is essential, as you will be expected to work within Agile frameworks and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes. In addition to your technical skills, you should possess a solid understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, and application resiliency and security. Your proficiency in Java J2EE application development and various design techniques will be crucial in delivering high-quality software solutions. This position also requires a working proficiency in software engineering disciplines, including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of software.
