About the position

The Java Developer with T-SQL experience is responsible for developing and maintaining applications that involve efficient data flow and batch processes. This role requires a strong background in Java programming and T-SQL, particularly in relation to Sybase and MSSQL databases. The position is contract-based and requires onsite presence in Weehawken, NJ, five days a week, although candidates can interview virtually.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications with a focus on T-SQL programming.
• Conduct requirement analysis and strategic analysis for software development.
• Implement efficient data flow and batch processes in applications.
• Perform design, development, maintenance, testing, and implementation of software solutions.
• Utilize strong knowledge of ETL processes using T-SQL with Java/Shell scripting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in requirement analysis and strategic analysis.
• Proficient in Java programming with good knowledge of T-SQL.
• Strong understanding of relational transactional databases like Sybase and MSSQL.
• Experience with ETL processes using T-SQL.
