About the position

The Sr. Java Developer position is a hybrid role based in Columbus, Ohio, focusing on developing and deploying applications using Java and Azure Cloud technologies. The role emphasizes API development and requires experience with content management systems (CMS) and microservices architecture. The position is expected to last for over six months with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy applications using Java and Azure Cloud technologies.
• Implement API development and integration.
• Work with CMS tools, specifically Content Stack or similar.
• Utilize Kubernetes for cloud service management.
• Scale services in the cloud environment.
• Develop and deploy microservices in Azure.
• Manage Azure containers and Azure functions.
• Collaborate in an Agile methodology environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services.
• Experience with API development.
• Familiarity with CMS tools, particularly Content Stack.
• Experience with Kubernetes in cloud environments.
• Ability to scale services in the cloud.
• Experience with Azure containers and Azure functions.
• Knowledge of developing and deploying microservices in cloud.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Golang development.
