About the position

The Java Developer position at Infosys involves contributing to various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role includes creating detailed design artifacts, developing and reviewing code, and participating in the go-live plan. The developer will collaborate with industry talent to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet client needs, all within a culture that values teamwork, excellence, and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed design artifacts such as program specifications and test plans.
• Independently develop and review code.
• Contribute to the go-live plan.
• Collaborate with team members to create innovative solutions.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience with Java/J2EE.
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 2 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Web Services, Microservices.
• Fundamentals in Database areas, Algorithm, and strong coding skills.
• Experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Ability to work in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Analytical skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
