About the position

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a strong background in microservices and API development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift, and will be capable of writing source code from scratch. This role requires a delivery-focused approach and the ability to work independently, contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications with a focus on microservices and API development.
• Write source code from scratch and perform code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
• Configure and manage software, optimizing processes through automation.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve organizational goals and deliver projects on time.
• Utilize various source control tools, specifically GIT, to manage code effectively.

Requirements

• Strong development experience in Java programming language.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture and API development.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Familiarity with the Spring framework and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to write manual GIT commands and manage source control effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience with Kafka or any streaming technology.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
