About the position

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Java Developer to join the Fraud Claims and Credit Assistance Technology team in Pennington, NJ. This role involves building components for Claims Processing related to card fraud and handling fraud monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to collaborate with multiple teams throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications for fraud claims processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Implement RESTful web services and integrate with existing systems.
• Participate in Agile development processes and DevOps practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of applicable experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in JAVA JEE, Spring, and REST Web Services.
• Experience with SQL and RDBMS (Oracle).
• Familiarity with Agile Development and DevOps methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and Cloud Migration.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with in-memory cache management (REDIS).
