About the position

The Java Developer position is focused on developing and maintaining applications using Java and related technologies. The role requires expertise in AWS services and a strong understanding of microservices architecture, as well as experience in Agile methodologies. The developer will work on both backend and frontend technologies, particularly if they are a full-stack candidate, contributing to the overall software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Implement and manage AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, and Lambda.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Integrate applications using SOAP/REST web services and other data transfer methods.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in software development.

Requirements

• 9+ years of programming experience with Java, J2EE, XML, and Web Services.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as CodeBuild, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, and Lambda.
• Experience with Angular 8, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for full-stack development.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Experience in Agile Scrum software development methodology.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with application integrations using ESB, JMS, and file/data transfers.
• Experience with serverless deployment and AWS CLI/YAML/CloudFormation.
