About the position

The Java Developer position is focused on developing and maintaining Java applications with a strong emphasis on web services and cloud technologies. The role requires hands-on experience in Java (J2EE) and involves driving end-to-end development, conducting performance code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern software design principles and experience with various technologies and databases.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end development of Java applications.
• Conduct performance code reviews and build test strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support operational issues.
• Write complex SQL queries and manage database interactions.
• Create common libraries and interfaces for efficient tool usage.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java (J2EE).
• Proficient in web services (microservices) and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB and cloud technologies (preferably AWS or Azure).
• Expertise in modern software design principles such as SOLID, DRY, and Single Responsibility Principle.
• Experience with technology stack including PCF, NiFi, NATS, Kafka, Zookeeper, Splunk, Redis, and Cassandra.
