About the position

The Java Developer position is focused on software development with a strong emphasis on Java technologies, including Spring Boot and Microservices. The role involves designing and implementing scalable systems, supporting production incidents, and ensuring smooth execution of batch jobs in a production-like environment. The developer will also engage in test-driven development and continuous integration processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and efficient Java Spring-based systems.
• Execute batch jobs to ensure smooth execution of bill cycles in a production-like environment.
• Support production incidents and complete root cause analysis (RCA) in a timely manner.
• Engage in test-driven development and continuous integration/deployment processes.

Requirements

• Strong background in software development with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of Oracle and Cassandra data modeling, architecture, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with distributed database systems and NoSQL concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Kafka, Rabbit MQ, or any queue-based architecture.
• Experience with K2View Fabric/Broadway.
