About the position

The Java Developer position is a contractor role requiring extensive experience in data analysis and visualization. The role involves working with financial and non-financial data, creating dashboards, and presenting insights to management. This hybrid position requires in-office attendance at a local Deloitte office twice a week.

Responsibilities

• Clean, analyze, and draw insights from raw data using tools such as Excel, PowerBI, or Tableau.
• Create dashboards in Excel or PowerBI and develop management-ready PowerPoint presentations based on these dashboards.
• Present analysis and financial figures in slides, including OpEx, CapEx, capitalization, accruals, and amortization.
• Collaborate with the team to structure data meaningfully for leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of US experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in data cleaning and analysis using Excel, PowerBI, or Tableau.
• Proficiency in creating dashboards and management presentations.
• Ability to present financial figures clearly and effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in VBA, Python, and Excel Macro.
• Willingness to learn new tools within Edward Jones.
