Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of work experience in software development.
• 6+ years of experience working with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Struts.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8 features such as Lambdas, Streams, Completable Future, Optional, and generics.
• Experience with VertX framework.
• Practical experience in implementing system integration solutions, including APIs and data integration layers (Batch & Real-Time).
• Experience with relational databases like DB2 or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like Couchbase.
• Experience in building event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
• Experience in developing asynchronous reactive microservices.
• Familiarity with distributed systems architecture concepts such as microservices, service meshes, and API gateways.
• Experience with software development and collaboration tools such as GitHub, Jira/Rally, and Confluence.
