About the position

The Java Developer position is a contract role focused on developing components for a Claims Processing system related to card fraud. The role involves collaboration with multiple teams and requires strong technical skills in Java and related technologies. This position is part of the Fraud Claims and Credit Assistance Technology team within a leading Banking and Finance company.

Responsibilities

• Develop components for Claims Processing related to card fraud.
• Collaborate with multiple teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work on both application and website aspects of the project.

Requirements

• 7+ years of applicable experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in JAVA JEE, Spring, and REST Web Services.
• Experience with SQL and RDBMS (Oracle).
• Familiarity with Agile Development and DEV OPS methodologies.
• Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and Cloud Migration.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and in-memory cache management (REDIS).
