About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled JAVA Developer to join our team at a well-known Financial Services Company located in Iselin, NJ. This is an outstanding long-term contract opportunity that offers the chance to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry at one of the largest financial institutions in the world. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of enterprise systems, particularly focusing on high volumes of data in case management and reporting. The role involves replacing an existing case management application and contributing to the development of the next generation investigations platform to support Financial Crimes Investigations and Reporting. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be tasked with building complex user interfaces using the Angular UI Framework and integrating these with backend services. You will participate in standard Agile ceremonies to discuss design, development, and implementation of large and complex applications. Your responsibilities will include performing standard developer activities such as coding, writing unit tests, manually testing, building and releasing code, and running code scans as part of the standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile manner. You will also need to ensure that all non-functional requirements for UI development are met, adhering to enterprise guidelines and best practices regarding accessibility, security, performance, resilience, and code reusability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of version control systems like GIT, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) processes, and tools such as uDeploy and Jenkins. You will be expected to work collaboratively in a virtual environment, where key team members and partners may be located in various time zones. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and technical troubleshooting, along with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. A BS/BA degree or higher in a relevant field is required for this role.
