About the position

The Java Developer role involves consulting on complex software engineering initiatives with significant impact and large-scale planning. The position requires collaboration with client personnel and participation in a scrum team to enhance the Operational Risk Platform (ORP) using technologies such as Angular, Spring Boot, and Java. The developer will work independently on story work within sprints and engage in various team activities to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning.
• Review and analyze multifaceted, large-scale, or long-term software engineering challenges, evaluating multiple factors.
• Contribute to resolving complex situations, ensuring adherence to function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
• Enhance the Operational Risk Platform (ORP) using Angular, Spring Boot, and Java.
• Work within a scrum team, independently delivering on story work within each sprint.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, team meetings, and product refinement sessions.
• Perform estimations, requirements breakdowns, and development work to complete assigned stories.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 2-3 years of Angular experience (version 6 or greater)
• 2-3 years of Spring Boot experience
• 2-3 years of Java experience
• Agile development experience
