About The Position
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. The role involves consulting on complex initiatives that have a broad impact and require large-scale planning for Software Engineering. The Java Developer will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing complex, multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that necessitate an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. The successful candidate will contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations that require a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel will be a key aspect of the role. Additionally, the Java Developer will troubleshoot and debug applications/programs, perform unit testing, conduct code reviews, and ensure code quality and security checks for databases, applications, tools, networks, and more.
