The Software Engineer position at Randstad US is focused on hands-on development and leading the creation of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Global eCommerce. The role involves application development that supports a multi-platform roadmap, ensuring high performance, scalability, and availability of applications. The Software Engineer will be deeply involved in the planning of system and development deployment, ensuring compliance with software standards. This position drives the technical vision and influences the product roadmap, implementing large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects. In addition to development responsibilities, the Software Engineer will lead the discovery phase of large projects to develop high-level designs and supervise the work of cross-functional groups of engineers, including offshore associates. The role also includes directing root cause analysis of critical business and production issues, documenting testing, and maintaining application corrections and improvements. The Software Engineer will influence decisions, build consensus, and resolve conflicts constructively and proactively, all while supporting business objectives and ensuring that business needs are met.
