About the position

Genesis10 is seeking a Java Developer for a contract position in the financial industry, located in Charlotte, NC, and Pennington, NJ. The role involves developing, enhancing, debugging, and maintaining software applications to support various business units. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and the ability to work with diverse technologies and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions
• Involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
• Participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies
• Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
• Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource
• Collaborate easily and effectively with a large set of stakeholders, has the required hands-on technical skills to work on application development and support issues
