About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. The role involves consulting on complex initiatives that have a broad impact and require large-scale planning for Software Engineering. The Java Developer will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing complex, multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that necessitate an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Additionally, the developer will contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations, requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel is also a key aspect of this position.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
