Insight Global is seeking a Remote Java Developer for a 6-month contract role to support one of our growing e-commerce and logistics clients. This position is primarily focused on backend development, with approximately 90% of the work involving Java and SQL. The main responsibilities will include automating processes and replacing manual tasks to enhance efficiency. The consultant will be tasked with gathering information, mapping processes, and writing transactions to ensure seamless communication between systems. Additionally, the developer will work on transactions and integrations with the Transportation Management System (TMS). While this is a remote position, candidates are expected to be located in or around the Greenville, SC area to facilitate any necessary in-person meetings or collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and experience with SQL databases. Familiarity with Banyan software or experience with temporal frameworks is preferred but not mandatory.
