About the position

Delbridge Solutions is seeking a Java Developer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java/J2EE development, with a focus on client needs and effective communication. This role involves working with various web service technologies and contributing to the development of software solutions for Fortune 1000 clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications.
• Implement web service technologies such as REST and JSON.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
• Work with databases using PL SQL or Transact SQL.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented design concepts and design patterns.
• Experience with web service technologies such as REST, JSON, and JDBC.
• Familiarity with XHTML/HTML5, CSS2, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript libraries (e.g., AngularJS, jQuery, NodeJS).
• Working experience with Java 8 and Spring Boot framework.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to GenAI and LLMs.
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development or Domain Driven Development.
