About the position

The Java Developer position is a contract role focused on the design, implementation, and production support of Java/J2EE applications. The role requires strong technical skills in various frameworks and tools, particularly in AWS and modern web technologies. The developer will work onsite across multiple locations and is expected to have a solid understanding of both backend and frontend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java/J2EE applications using Spring Framework (Spring Boot).
• Provide production support and resolve production issues.
• Develop and maintain test automation using Selenium/Cucumber.
• Work with relational databases and write SQL queries.
• Utilize AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Fargate, and DynamoDB in application development.
• Analyze system functionality and collaborate with customers to address complex problems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Experience with web services (SOAP/REST).
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium and Cucumber.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve production issues.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Node.js and React or Angular.
• Knowledge of Golang.
