About the position

As a Java Developer at Wise Equation Solutions, you will be responsible for developing applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Frameworks, along with XML/JSON and Gitlab. Your role will involve creating and deploying REST API applications in AWS, specifically for account creation in the AWS public cloud, utilizing cloud management platforms. You will also be tasked with deploying web servers using JBOSS and Websphere applications, ensuring that the applications are robust and scalable. In addition to application development, you will engage in full-stack cloud-native development, focusing on RESTful APIs, Graph-based APIs, and serverless microservices using Spring Boot. You will design and implement RESTful services within a microservice architecture, ensuring that the services are efficient and maintainable. Your responsibilities will also include developing automated backend REST services, which will involve writing custom functions using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, and Ready API. You will be expected to work with the 12-factor methodology, understanding its benefits and demonstrating appropriate patterns to your team members. Furthermore, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining automated UI and API tests in Java, JavaScript, C#, and Python, utilizing various open-source testing libraries like Selenium, Cypress, and REST Assured. This position requires a strong foundation in software development principles and practices, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Frameworks, XML/JSON, Gitlab, and Microservices.
• Create and deploy REST API applications in AWS for account creation using cloud management platforms.
• Perform web server deployment with JBOSS and Websphere applications.
• Develop, deploy, and test full-stack cloud-native development, RESTful APIs, Graph-based APIs, and serverless microservices with Spring Boot.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology management, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE and Spring Frameworks.
• Experience with XML/JSON and Gitlab.
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud management platforms.
• Familiarity with JBOSS and Websphere applications.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Ability to write automated tests using tools like Postman, REST Assured, and Cypress.
• Understanding of the 12-factor methodology and its application in software development.

Nice-to-haves
