About the position

The Java Developer will join the Fraud Claims and Credit Assistance Technology team at BCforward, focusing on building components for Claims Processing related to card fraud and fraud monitoring. The role requires effective communication with multiple teams and involves working in both application and website environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications for fraud claims processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Implement RESTful web services and integrate with existing systems.
• Participate in Agile development processes and DevOps practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of applicable experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in JAVA JEE, Spring, and REST Web Services.
• Experience with SQL and RDBMS (Oracle).
• Familiarity with Agile Development and DevOps methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and cloud migration.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with in-memory cache management (REDIS).
