About the position

The Java Developer at Harbinger Partners is responsible for providing application design guidance and consultation, leveraging a deep understanding of technology and existing designs. This role involves analyzing complex business requirements, designing technical specifications, and overseeing systems testing and migration of applications to production.

Responsibilities

• Analyze highly complex business requirements
• Design and write technical specifications for complex computer platforms and applications
• Provide coding direction to less experienced staff or develop highly complex original code
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts
• Oversee overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.

Requirements

• 4 years application development and implementation experience
• Proficient in Java, HTML, and JavaScript
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of databases and data analysis capabilities
• Ability to gather requirements and complete artifacts, including solution design support
• Effective communication skills with various levels of the organization.
