About the position

We are seeking an entry-level Java Developer to join one of our dynamic teams. The role involves backend Java and Spring development, with a focus on performance tuning, code refactoring, and running automated tests. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of software development principles and be eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications.
• Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.
• Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks, requiring creativity and latitude.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Java development.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Spring development.
• Heavy experience coding with Spring and Java.
• Experience in backend development, preferably in e-commerce and/or SAP Hybris.
• Ability to performance tune and refactor code as well as run necessary automated tests.
