About the position

The Java Developer role involves developing complex computer systems primarily using Java and various associated frameworks and tools. This position requires a strong understanding of Java programming, SQL, and experience with cloud technologies, as well as a commitment to agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex computer systems using Java.
• Utilize Java IDEs such as Eclipse and STS for development.
• Program in SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• Implement programming using Java JEE Struts Framework.
• Utilize Java JEE Spring/SpringBoot Framework 3.0 for development.
• Develop applications using Hibernate/JPA framework.
• Work with AWS, Databricks, and Elastic search for project development.
• Engage in projects using Angular/React JS and JavaScript frameworks.
• Program in the JBOSS Enterprise SOA environment including JBOSS Workflow.
• Apply CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices in development.
• Implement agile development processes including test-driven development.
• Create CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (nice to have).

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java programming and development.
• Experience with Java IDEs such as Eclipse and STS.
• Strong programming skills in SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• Experience with Java JEE Struts Framework.
• Experience with Java JEE Spring/SpringBoot Framework 3.0.
• Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA framework.
• Experience with AWS, Databricks, and Elastic search.
• Knowledge of Angular/React JS and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience in JBOSS Enterprise SOA environment including JBOSS Workflow.
• Understanding of CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices.
• Experience with agile development processes and test-driven development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience or knowledge of creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
