About the position

Genesis10 is seeking a Big Data Engineer for a contract position in the financial industry. The role involves consulting on software engineering initiatives, analyzing challenges, and collaborating with client personnel to meet deliverables. This position requires a solid understanding of software engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Tech Stack: Core Java, Java EE, Kafka, Mongo DB, Splunk, Spring Boot.
