About the position

The Java Developer position is focused on transforming legacy applications within the Wealth Investment Management Technology team. The role involves engaging in leading work in trust technology, particularly in automating fee controls and analytics reporting. The developer will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to both front-end and back-end development, with a heavier emphasis on back-end automation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the transformation of legacy trust business applications.
• Automate the discovery of analytics reports and enhance reporting capabilities.
• Perform technical builds around automation processes.
• Work within an agile team of 6-8 members to deliver software solutions.
• Contribute to both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on back-end automation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective fee control mechanisms.

Requirements

• Proficient in Java programming language.
• Experience with Oracle databases and Oracle stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Angular (version 12 or similar) for front-end development.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot and willingness to upgrade to the latest version.
• Experience in large enterprise environments, preferably in financial services.

Nice-to-haves

• Cloud experience, particularly with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
• Experience with data center migrations.
• Strong self-starter attitude and problem-solving skills.
