U-Haul is searching for a Java Developer to join our team! This position is part of a financially stable and ever-expanding IT organization, and you will play a crucial role in our quest to elevate our technology to the next level. The role is primarily remote, with occasional onsite meetings and special training sessions required at our Midtown Campus in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-volume, batch applications for mission-critical systems. You will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring that the software you create is well-designed, testable, and efficient. In this role, you will write code that complies with specifications and prepare and produce releases of software components. Continuous improvement is key, and you will support this by investigating alternatives and technologies, presenting your findings for architectural review. Testing and debugging software applications will also be a significant part of your responsibilities, as will collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
