About the position

Insight Global is looking for a Remote Java Developer to work on a 6-month contract to support one of our growing e-commerce and logistics clients. This role involves 90% backend development utilizing Java and SQL, focusing on automating processes and replacing manual tasks. The consultant will also gather information, map processes, and write transactions to ensure seamless system communication. This developer will also be working on transactions and integrations with our Transportation Management System (TMS). While this is a remote position, the candidate will need to be located around the Greenville, SC area. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Java programming and a strong knowledge of SQL databases. Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is essential, and experience with temporal frameworks or Banyan software is preferred. Knowledge of TMS or WMS systems such as Red Prairie, JDA, or Blue Yonder will be beneficial.
