About the position

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer who will play a crucial role in interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. The Java Developer will be responsible for creating high-level design artifacts and delivering high-quality code deliverables for a module. Additionally, the role involves leading validation for all types of testing and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
  • Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
  • Lead validation for all types of testing including unit, integration, and system testing.
  • Support implementation, transition, and warranty activities related to the software.
  • Collaborate with team members in a diverse environment to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent; work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2+ years of Information Technology experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Vert.X, and Reactive Programming.
  • Familiarity with databases, Git, CI/CD, Kibana, Splunk, and Kafka.
  • Hands-on exposure to Banking/Financial Services/Payment sectors.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering client presentations.
  • Ability to focus on and collect client technical requirements and translate them into project requirements.
  • Experience in project life cycle activities for development and maintenance projects.
