About the position

Genesis10 is seeking a Software Engineer to serve as the Primary Scrum Master for a scrum team in the financial industry. This role involves consulting on complex initiatives, analyzing multi-faceted challenges, and strategically collaborating with client personnel. The position is a 6+ month contract based in San Leandro, CA, starting on October 7, 2024, and ending on April 6, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Will be Primary Scrum Master for one scrum team and available as back for two other scrum teams
• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Scrum or Agile
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Scrum Master challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• Tech Stack: Mongo DB, Unit Testing, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, ReactJS, Cloud Architecture
• Agile Project Management Tools (JIRA, Confluence)
