About the position

We are seeking a Java Developer who will be a key player in the design, development, testing, and deployment of cutting-edge solutions. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and fellow developers to deliver exceptional results. Your expertise will help shape our software systems' architecture, ensuring they are robust, responsive, and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Collaborate with architects and team members to design software systems that are both efficient and scalable.
• Lead and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with QA and support teams to ensure top-notch software quality.
• Identify and implement performance improvements to ensure our systems operate at peak efficiency.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation in our development process.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of Java fundamentals.
• Proven experience in designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
• In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other key Java frameworks.
• Proficiency with both relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Ability to work hybrid - 3 days in our McKinney TX office and 2 days remote.
