About the position

The JAVA Drools Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing business rules using the Drools Rules Engine. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the rules are effectively integrated into the overall system architecture and meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business rules using the Drools Rules Engine.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design rule-based solutions.
• Test and validate rules to ensure they function as intended within the application.
• Maintain and optimize existing rules for performance and accuracy.
• Document rule definitions and changes for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of the Drools Rules Engine and rule-based systems.
• Experience with business process modeling and business rules management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with other rule engines or business process management tools.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and microservices architecture.
