Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in an I.S. discipline, providing direction on effective technology use within the enterprise architecture.
  • Mentor and train associates in their area of expertise.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation for the team.
  • Work in an agile delivery team to break down stories and deliver functionality in sprints.
  • Provide leadership related to technical aspects of tools, methodologies, best practices, and processes.
  • Research technical improvements and communicate/implement solutions.
  • Conduct code walkthroughs to ensure quality of programs developed by other associates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in open systems development skills such as Java, JEE, JSP, Spring, Spring Boot, Rest Services, Spring JPA, REST, Kafka, JSON, JUnit, Reactjs, Node.js, IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Azure, JavaScript, LINUX, REACT, HTML, and XML.
  • Ability to develop system designs within area of expertise.
  • Ability to perform analysis of system requirements to determine feasibility, costs, benefits.
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide strategic direction and technical leadership to align objectives with the overall Firm strategy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
