About the position

The Java Front-End and Integration Technologies position involves participating in the analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, and implementation of enterprise applications. The role focuses on creating interfaces to third-party systems and reporting warehouses, ensuring a seamless end-to-end process. The candidate will also contribute to project timelines, implementation design specifications, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the analysis, design, development/configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation of enterprise applications.
• Design and develop interfaces to third-party systems and reporting warehouses as required by the end-to-end process.
• Contribute to project timelines and implementation design specifications.
• Create system flow diagrams and documentation for the development process.
• Conduct testing and provide ongoing support for applications.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with high volume e-commerce or online retail services.
• 5 years of experience specific to front-end and integration technologies.
• Demonstrable proficiency in NodeJS-based technologies and/or Java, microservices, and integration technologies like Kafka.
• Exposure to API management tools such as Apigee or Mulesoft.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management technologies like Ping Federate, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience running workloads on Public Clouds such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with container-based technologies like Docker and Cloud Foundry.
• Prior experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment in a DevOps-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with modern monitoring technologies like Splunk, New Relic, and Pager Duty.
• Strong understanding of system and technical design principles and performant coding practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Content Management Systems and/or Personalization Systems.
• Ability to apply SDLC concepts and deliver robust applications.
