About the position

The Java Front End Developer position is focused on developing user-facing applications using Java and React.js. The role requires a strong understanding of web standards and compliance, as well as experience in Agile development environments. The developer will work in a hybrid setting, contributing to projects that prioritize user experience and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing applications using React.js and Java.
• Ensure compliance with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 standards.
• Collaborate within an Agile development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Utilize IDE tools such as Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio for Java development.
• Implement and maintain applications using JPA, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data frameworks.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with React.js.
• 5 years of experience with HTML5 and CSS Frameworks.
• 5 years of experience with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 compliance policies.
• 3 years of experience with current JAVA and relevant IDE tools.
• 2 years of experience programming with JPA framework.
• 2 years of experience programming with Spring framework.
• 2 years of experience programming with Spring Boot and Spring Data.
• 3 years of experience programming with Java 8+.
• 2 years of experience in an Agile development environment.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise environment.
