About the position

The Java Frontend Developer position at IO Datasphere, Inc. involves supporting client Development and Maintenance programs by collaborating with project teams, UI/UX designers, and Business analysts to create and maintain reusable UI components. The role emphasizes accessibility, performance, scalability, and robustness, with a strong focus on compliance with WCAG 2.1 and ADA standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development project teams, UI/UX designers, and Business analysts to develop and maintain reusable UI components.
• Ensure UI components are accessible, performant, scalable, and robust.
• Test all development for accessibility using Jaws reader and multiple browser plugins.

Requirements

• 5 years of strong background with React.js.
• 5 years of experience with HTML5 and CSS Frameworks, including Bootstrap.
• 5 years of strong knowledge and background with ADA, WCAG 2.1, Section 508 compliance policies, and User Experience design principles.
• 3 years of experience with current JAVA, including relevant IDE tools such as Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio.
• 2 years of experience programming in projects using JPA framework.
• 2 years of experience programming in projects using current Spring framework.
• 2 years of experience programming with Spring Boot and Spring Data.
• 3 years of experience programming with Java 8+.
• 2 years of experience participating as a programmer within an Agile development environment.
• Associate's Degree or some college.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise environment.
