About the position

The Java Full Stack Application Support Administrator at Infosys is responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency in service operations. The role involves responding to assigned issues, conducting analysis, suggesting and implementing workarounds, and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA). Additionally, the candidate will participate in requirements elicitation, validate architecture, create and review design, and assign tasks for implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders to understand and address service operations issues.
  • Respond to issues assigned and conduct thorough analysis.
  • Suggest and implement workarounds for identified issues.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure transparency and timely updates.
  • Close issues as per agreed timelines to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Participate in requirements elicitation and validation of architecture.
  • Create and review design documentation for application support.
  • Assign tasks to team members for implementation of solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Java Full Stack Application Support.
  • Experience in supporting applications using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Oracle, and Postgres DB.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting web applications, both Monolith and Microservices, hosted on AWS cloud.
  • Experience in handling certificate renewals and using logging tools like Splunk and observability tools like Honeycomb and AppDynamics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Adept at using Splunk queries to pinpoint issues and lead resolutions.
  • Knowledge of overall infrastructure including server-Linux/Unix and databases.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with ITSM, SDLC, Project Life Cycle, Scrum, Kanban, and ITIL methodologies.
  • Desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
