About the position

Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer responsible for translating software requirements into maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks. The role involves applying technical proficiency throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, gathering requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize tasks. Attention to detail is crucial for identifying errors and making adjustments in a testing environment, while also adhering to best practices for scalable application development.

Responsibilities

  • Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions.
  • Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks.
  • Identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment.
  • Develop and adhere to best practices for scalable application development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Core, Reactive programming using WebFlux, Microservices, and data pipelines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in implementing GraphQL endpoints using Java Spring Boot.
  • Experience in architecting and implementing fault-tolerant, highly available microservices.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit.
  • SQL knowledge and experience writing database scripts using DDL or DML queries.
  • CI/CD skills for building automated infrastructure pipelines using Terraform.
  • Microsoft Azure experience in building data engineering components.
