About the position

Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer (GCP) who will play a crucial role in the technical design and development of large business systems. This position involves building applications, creating interfaces between applications, and ensuring data security, retention, and recovery. The ideal candidate will independently research technologies to recommend solutions and contribute to best practices and standards throughout the project lifecycle, from design to deployment, focusing on reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the technical design of large business systems.
• Build applications and interfaces between applications.
• Understand data security, retention, and recovery.
• Research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
• Contribute to success criteria from design through deployment.
• Guide and mentor the team during the build and test phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Java, J2EE, Springboot, Microservices.
• Experience in GCP Cloud.
• Experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in Database - SQL and NoSQL (Oracle/MySQL/Spanner/MongoDB).

• Experience in software development life cycle.
• Experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Experience in Apigee.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD tools.
