About the position

The Java Full Stack Developer position is a long-term contract role based in Irving, TX, requiring extensive experience in Java and Angular Spring framework. The role involves leading a technical team in an Agile development environment, focusing on delivering high-quality software solutions through collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical team and Product Owners in an Agile development process.
• Enact Scrum values and practices.
• Guard and shield the team from distractions and interruptions from external interferences.
• Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions.
• Promote and participate in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, and tooling to deliver more value.
• Organize and facilitate standups, release and sprint planning, reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
• Support efforts to code, design, and test in a heterogeneous technology environment.

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies.
• Strong customer focus, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Understanding of object orientation and software design patterns.
• Experience of testing at the unit, integration, and system levels.
• Experience with at least one web application server such as Tomcat or similar.
• Strong hands-on coding experience in Java and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Testing Automation and performance profiling.
• Strong knowledge and experience in build pipeline tools like Jenkins, Jules, and Groovy.
• Knowledge and experience in cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, GKP, and AWS.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of Java/J2EE or .Net, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Spring, AJAX, and JSON for implementing web technologies.
• Familiarity with React.
• Understanding of jQuery and NodeJS.
• Understanding of multithreaded software design.
• Experience with Testing Automation such as BDD and Cucumber.
• Participation in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development.
• Practice of Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery.
