About the position

The Java Full Stack Developer (Java/React) role at Ztek Consulting Inc involves developing and supporting applications using Java and React technologies. The position requires a strong background in backend development, particularly with Java and Java Enterprise technologies, as well as proficiency in frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js. The developer will be responsible for building reliable and secure distributed applications, implementing RESTful APIs, and ensuring high standards of web accessibility and UX/UI design across various devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Java and React applications.
• Implement and consume REST-based APIs.
• Take ownership of features and projects from start to launch.
• Ensure high accessibility, browser compatibility, and localization standards in web applications.
• Manage UI state using systems like React and Redux.
• Support multiple concurrent projects and learn modern technologies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a backend developer with expertise in Java and Java Enterprise technologies.
• 6+ years of experience in Vue.js or React development.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and its quirks.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Multi-Threading, REST, and Data Caching Services.
• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, and React coding best practices.
• Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6, Async Await) and build tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with TypeScript, WebRTC, and Event-Driven architecture.
• Familiarity with Ansible, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins.
• Experience building UI component libraries with Vue.js.
