The Java Full Stack Developer position in Omaha, NE, is a W2 contract role focused on leveraging technology to meet business objectives. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and related technologies.
• Implement cloud-based solutions using Cloud Foundry and other PaaS offerings.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Utilize Spring Cloud components for microservices architecture and service discovery.
• Ensure application security and data encryption using SSL protocols.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Java / J2EE programming.
• Strong understanding of cloud service models and deployment strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Foundry and its Command Line Interface (cf CLI).
• Expertise in microservices architecture and SOA principles.
• Experience in developing RESTful services and APIs using JAX-RS and Spring.
• Familiarity with event-based and message-driven distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTTP, WebSocket, and SSE.
