About the position

The Java Full Stack Developer role at Infosys involves contributing to various stages of the Software Development lifecycle. The position focuses on creating detailed design artifacts, developing and reviewing code, and participating in the go-live plan. Responsibilities

• Create detailed design artifacts such as program specifications and test plans.
• Independently develop and review code.
• Contribute to the go-live plan for software projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in designing and developing microservices using Spring Cloud.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions).

Nice-to-haves

• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Spring Cloud Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Spring Cloud Config.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
