About the position

The Java Full Stack Developer position at Infosys involves interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role includes responsibilities such as requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, and design, as well as delivering high-quality code and leading validation for testing and support activities. Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
  • Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for modules.
  • Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
  • Work with architects on solution design and lead teams in design.
  • Develop frameworks for new work and provide guidance to the development team.
  • Analyze and document detailed requirements and develop preliminary and detailed designs.
  • Define engineering processes, methodologies, and approaches for execution of projects.
  • Support testing, quality checks, troubleshooting, and creation of proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • 4+ years of experience in Information Technology, specifically in developing Java applications using Microservices, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Experience in designing and developing business flows using Bonita BPM or JBPM and RHPAM is a must.
  • Experience in back-end development of enterprise applications using J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices with UI primarily through AngularJS or React JS.
  • Experience with database technologies, writing PL-SQL queries using either Oracle or Postgres.
  • Knowledge and experience with the full SDLC lifecycle and Lean/Agile development methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in relevant technologies is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scaled Agile environments.
  • Willingness to stretch to support production and client-related issues.
