About the position

The Java Full Stack Developer position at Infosys involves interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency throughout various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role includes responsibilities such as requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, high-level design artifact creation, and delivering high-quality code. The developer will also lead validation for testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty, while fostering a collaborative and diverse learning culture.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
  • Create high-level design artifacts for software applications.
  • Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
  • Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
  • Participate in a collaborative learning culture that values teamwork and diversity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • 4+ years of experience in Information Technology, specifically in developing Java applications using Microservices, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Experience in designing and developing business flows using Bonita BPM or JBPM and RHPAM.
  • Back-End development experience with J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices, with UI development primarily through AngularJS or React JS.
  • Experience with database technologies, writing PL-SQL queries using Oracle or Postgres.
  • Knowledge and experience with the full SDLC lifecycle.
  • Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.
  • Telecom/Networking domain experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in relevant technologies is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scaled Agile environments.
  • Willingness to support production and client-related issues.
