About the position

We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Iselin, NJ. This position is a W2 opportunity and is specifically open to local candidates residing in New Jersey and New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both backend and frontend development, with a focus on Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Microservices, and SQL. The role requires a balanced skill set, with approximately 60% of the work focused on backend Java development and 40% on Angular/UI development. The selected candidate will be expected to work onsite three days a week, collaborating closely with team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. The interview process will consist of an initial technical screening followed by a streamlined interview process, allowing for a quick turnaround in hiring. This position is contract-based, with a duration ranging from 6 to 24 months, with the potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs. Candidates must be prepared to demonstrate their technical skills through a screening process that must be completed by the end of the day. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Java and Angular.

  • Experience with SQL databases and writing complex queries.
